On March 16th at Southorn Stadium, Wan Chai, JUST MMA returns with a night for the local fight fans. Featuring a line up of Hong Kong’s MMA community going all out against international fight talent. Meet the first of the professional fights of the night: Sasha Palatnikov, Donald Tong and their Korean counterparts Ko Seok Hyeon and Ko Hyeon Woo.
Kicking off the professional bouts and representing Hong Kong is expatriate Sasha Palatnikov. Raised in Hong Kong from a young age, Palatnikov has a background in Karate and wears a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. After living in America training under The Blackzilians gym he has returned to his Home country of Hong Kong training out of Warrior Academy and hungry to launch his professional fight career.
Palatnikov’s Welterweight opponent, Ko Seok Hyeon will be a tough opponent. International Sambo Champion and sparring partner to UFC athletes in Korea, will Palatnikov be able to stop him?
Donald Tong, another one of Hong Kong’s familiar faces, has been professional in MMA since 2012. Also a Brazilian jiu-jitsu brownbelt and grapples frequently at Warrior academy he see’s a very even match up against Korean grappling specialist, Ko Hyeon Woo. With 90% of his victories due to submission chokes, will he be able to get hold of Hong Kong’s, Tong?
