Much anticipated bout between Hong Kong’s own Adrian Fok against Filipino Virgilio Diapolet pulled from the JUST Challenge – Hong Kong line up due to injury.
Virgilio Diapolet had stepped in as a reserve to fight Adrian Fok at December 1st JUST Challenge – Hong Kong. Unfortunately the fight has had to be pulled due to a last minute drop out due to injury.
Diapolet has reportedly injured his rib during training in his final week of camp and withdrew from the competition with only a few days notice, commenting on Facebook:
Adrian Fok was disappointed to not be able to find a replacement with the limited time available and hoped “giving up burgers wasn’t for nothing” but unfortunately the fight will not go ahead for December 2017.
Adrian Fok and JUST MMA are in discussions for his appearance in their first events of 2018 that will take place in Hong Kong (March 16th) and Guangzhou (Late April).
